Sunday December 2, 2007 The Immaculate Conception Parish of North Easton was presented with the Clement Briggs Award. This award was presented by the Easton Historical Commission for the preservation of Easton's historical landscape or architectural integrity. Presenting the award is Mr. Thomas Caron, President, Bank of Easton, Ms. Melanie Deware, Chair of the Easton Historical Commission and Mr. John J. Ventresco, member of the Easton Historical Commission
Fr. Thomas C. Lopes was pleased to accept this award on behalf of Immaculate Conception and was accompanied by members of the parish.

The Parish Says Thank You!! - During the last Parish Council meeting, the Parish Council, Finance Committee and Hospitality Committee had a presentation of the Parish Gift to Father Tom. Claire Dalton announced that the Chapel will undergo the following renovations: new paint, Stations of the Cross, a new larger crucifix, a

beautiful wall statue of the Risen Christ and a plaque which shall read - Rev. Thomas C. Lopes Chapel. Father Tom said the parish could not have given him a more fitting gift. He was very pleased. Come see it on June 22nd after 12 noon Mass when we celebrate Fr. Tom's retirement and open house from 1 - 4 p.m. in the Parish Hall

REV. JON-PAUL GALLANT - has been appointed by Bishop Coleman as the new pastor here at ICC. He is a native of Fall River, and is the present pastor of Holy Redeemer Parish in Chatham on the Cape. He was ordained in 1978. This transfer will take place on Wednesday, June 25th. Let us prepare to welcome him among us during these next few weeks.
