The Exterior
On the outside, the church is surrounded by an "emerald necklace" of well maintained lawn. The bell tower stands as the focal point of the building. Arriving at main entrance to the church is the statue of the Blessed Virgin. On the east is a statue of Saint Rita, the patron saint of impossible causes, and on the west is a statue of Saint Joseph, the patron saint of the universal Church.
The Interior
Behind and above the Altar, a reproduction of Murrillo’s "The Immaculate Conception" is a constant reminder of the Blessed Virgin and her response to God’s call. The original painting hangs in the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain. This reproduction was purchased in Italy and donated by a parishioner.
Stained Glass Over the main entrance at the rear of the church overlooking Main Street is the stain glass masterpiece of Saint Michael the Archangel after his defeat over Satan. A gift from Ames Family and the members of the Unity Church of North Easton, for whom, it was designed by architect, John Ames Mitchell. It graced the east transept of the Unity Church for many years.
